General Data Protection Regulation – Gives you more control over your data

On 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect in the UK.

The new legislation has now introduced new rules and regulations on how companies store and manage customer data. Dunamis Speed Ltd has now updated their privacy policy to reflect these changes.

Any personal data that is identifiable that is related to you as our customer and which you submit to us are retained for the following purposes only for:

  • airfreight, sea freight services for all customers we serve.
  • recording your previous orders and transactions
  • you as the customer to access your personal data when you need it only in our office and by you the customer/staff authorised at any time.
  • sending out important updates, news and special offers through your email or post
  • requesting and collecting customer feedback so as to improve our website and customer care services.

Data we collect

When you visit our website, we will record your IP address, operating system and browser information. We use this information to identify your location, number of times you visited our website, time spent as well as pages viewed and more. Besides, we use the data collected to monitor and improve our website and services.

How would I delete my personal data?

Yes we will be happy to do it. You can ask us to remove your own personal data and individual orders that are older than 12 months in our office. Once we get this request from you, we will delete permanently all personal data we hold about you, including collection and delivery address as well as receiver details from our system. Once your account is closed you may not be able to make a future claim for loss or damage to your items or goods. We will not close your account if your account has ongoing claims, in debt, fraudulent and other illegal activity. In addition, your payment options is controlled through your account.

Do you share customer’s my personal data with other companies?

Dunamis Speed Ltd is a freight forwarder. When you call our office, or visit our website to book for airfreight or sea freight service, we will normally share your personal details such as full name, address and contact details with the carriers involved in fulfilling your desired service.

Your payment details are submitted securely through our local nominated Dunamis Speed Ltd bank account.

In addition, when you opt to receive important updates, news, special offers and customer feedback requests by email, we may also share your full name and email address with our third party. We will not allow them or any company to use your personal data for any marketing purposes. Our website does not have links to other websites or any third party.

How do I see the personal data you have about?
Your personal data and account information such as booking and order history, invoices are securely held in our system in the office and can be accessed by an authorised staff and you the account holder on request. Please feel free to contact us if you would like a copy of all your transactions with Dunamis Speed Ltd. It takes approximately 2 weeks for us to have it produced in Excel Spreadsheets format.

Telephone calls

All telephone calls are recorded and monitored in order improve customer care services, staff and customer protection. We may also use it for staff training purposes.

How we fulfil our airfreight and sea freight services?

Dunamis Speed Ltd is obliged and will provide a record of each customer’s previous call requests and transactions to a specific customer and you can access your records at any time in our office strictly under your account only. We will retain this data for your future reference, claims, payments, legal and regulatory purposes.

We may send you important updates, news and special offers as well as request and collect customer feedback from time to time through your email so as to improve our website and services.

If you do not want to participate in our customer surveys feedback please click “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email we sent you and you will be removed from the list immediately.

We have now added an option on our website which would allow you to register and deactivate your account with us. Please note that we will hold your data for 7 years, after which time any personally data that is identifiable to you will be permanently deleted. You must be the account holder to be able to perform the task. Please note this option depends on the status of your account.

Refund Policy
Customers can get a full refund for orders cancelled prior to collection. If you wish to cancel your order please call us on:

Failed collections/appointments are chargeable. We will not issue refunds failed collections and appointments. If we do not collect your parcel at the pre-requested time, you may contact us to re-arrange a collection.

We cannot guarantee Transit times and therefore cannot issue any refunds for delayed shipments unless it can be proved that the carrier has acted negligently.

If your goods are returned without it having left UK due to prohibited items found in your consignment, you will be liable for the UK carriage costs and will be issued with a partial refund for the overseas carriage costs.

Secure Payment Method

At Dunamis Speed Ltd, all payments are handled by our nominated bank. This includes credit card, debit card and PayPal payments.

Following your order completion, you will automatically be directed to our nominated bank in the UK. We do not store any of your payment information such as bank, debit or credit card details. When we receive payment, we will send you an email indicating payment reference and booking confirmation.
